I found that in the street side cabinet- just under the slide out
drawer-pull the drawer out, 2 screws holds the top. There you will see the hoses
that
go to the outside fill and hot water heater. Mine had come loose- and since
you can't see this area, easily, I overlooked it. This is beside the bed.

Last night was the first time I have slept in my coach in total silence
(i.e., no generator, no A/C, no fans, nothing). As a result, I was
able to hear that every once in a while (maybe 20-30 minutes?) the
water pump will kick on very briefly, like for maybe one second. There
are no leaks in the plumbing that I have found. Is this normal?

This has happened with my '86 a few times...it always indicated a
leak...each time it was a small drip every minute or so at the water
heater...once it
was a leaking QEST (sp?) fitting (now all replaced), and the second time it
was an actual leak in the water heater tank itself, requiring replacement of
the water heater. I too have replaced the accumulator tank with a demand
Shurflo 5.7gpm pump.
Don't overlook it...you need to find the leak otherwise you could be in line
for wood damage, carpeting, mold and mildew, etc.

Scott if you have a Reverse Osmosis system like I have then the pump may
come on from time to time. My RO system is always making RO water and when
it's full it dumps the excess into the grey water tank. This process puts a
drain on the pressure tank which drops the pressure and causes the pump to
come on periodically. However, it does not come on every half hour as you
say yours does.

I have the 'demand' pump with no expansion tank. It doesn't run
unless a faucet is on. If you get intermittent running, then there is
a small leak somewhere -- but that can be tricky to find.
