Howdy.

My DW has complained that the electric heater in our coach's bathroom
doesn't put out as much warm air as the electric heater in the LR
area(under center front console cabinet drawers). Upon examination of
both heaters, I see that the LR heater has an metal air deflector
screwed onto the front grill. Hmmm, I said. I wonder where I might buy
one of these defectors? Ideas?

From previous threads on this Forum we understand that Cadet still has a
"replacement program" for these Perfectoe heaters. I am going to call
Cadet tomorrow and find out about that.

That deflector,if it is similar to what I recall on my 91SP, is a fabrication by
the BB factory, I would consult a Sheel metal shop before anything.

I belive that the deflector is installed on the LR heater to keep
the heat away from the carpet and vinyl carpet cover if installed. In
the bathroom you have the tile floor which is not as sensitive to heat.
I agree, the LR heater work's really good. But, our bathroom work's
well also. the heater shield is my own opinion and Iam stickin to
it.....Bob 93pt, Il. Jack&Liz, have you been up to Leadville? I used to
have a cabin up there,

Howdy, Bob.
Thanks for the reply.

The deflector sort of funnels the heated air towards the floor(carpet)
and the rest of the room.

Yes, we have been up to Leadville. We need to go back and spend more
time there. Want to see that mining museum. It is a little hard
breathing at that 10,000 K altitude.
