Hi Guys Has anybody seen or used a vacuum gauge that goes on the
racor filter where the T handle is. It keep the highest reading that it goes to
while driving. I think that would be kind of good to be able to see that
when you stopped to take a break. It is supposed to keep you from changing
filters unnecessary. Mine in the top gauge cluster isn't working & in looking
for
a new one I found this one. I haven't got one yet & was wandering if any one
has used one.

Don, disconnect your vacuum line from your gauge. Harvey Lawrence once told
me to do that.

Hi Don,

I have one- works fine. Seem to recall getting it from some marine
supply place out west. Only drawback is that you need a wrench to
loosen it when you change filters. BB parts had the one for the dash.

Ernie What do you do when you disconnect the line? I have mine off

Hi Shane I think I will get one to put on the Racor just to see when
the filter is ready to change. I have a West Marine not to far from me.

Harvey told me to reconnect it. It somehow helped. But that was on my 35FC a
few years ago. Maybe it was a coincidence?
