I searched the archives but didn't find what I was looking for. The
shaft coming out of my wiper motor has sheared. I've taken it apart as
far as the shaft attached to the plastic gear. The local truck supply
place was no help.
1) Can I just buy the shaft and gear? Part number? Buy it where?
2) If I have to buy the whole motor and assembly, where's the best
place to get, and how much do they cost?
Thanks

Theres a place in Ga that has a good selection of wiper motors and parts for
older truck type vehicles. I got everything I needed to rebuild both air wipers
on Pop's 89 Barth. Will find and post the info when I return next week, but
found the info @ http://www.barthmobile.com

Tom Warner

You can buy the complete motor from your local Bluebird school bus dealer.

Tom,

I'll go Tom Warner one better:

Central New York Coach
7765 Lakeport Road
Chittenango, NY 13037
In U.S. 1-800-962-5768
Fax (315) 687-7900

They are Blue Bird School bus distributors with a large inventory of
parts and quick turnaround on orders. Check your map - they may be
closer than you think.

Happy parts hunting and good luck.

Jim thats the company that I use(15 miles from me) but unfortunately it is
not near Bedford hills. And if you go back in the archives that is the one
that I recommend.
