John

I would like some feedback on what type of seminars/workshops that
you would like to be held during this years Rally Across The Street.

At the Oshkosh Rally earlier this year, there were some suggestions
of doing a seminar on Diesel Fuels, such as the effects of Ultra Low
Sulfur Diesel on older engines and Bio Diesel/How to make it, etc.

How about How to replace the ballast in a florescent light fixture,
or repair a Sporlan valve?

Remember, that you may be asked to volunteer some information and
help out with the seminar/workshop, but we want to keep it low key,
nothing fancy, but still informative and interesting enough so that
people will leave with a little more knowledge about the topic than
they came with. Keep in mind that not all 'Bird owners have the same
experiences that you have had already, so give up a little of that
knowledge, by sharing it with us.

John:
I think a trouble shooting seminar on for instance, logical
procedures to do if failure of the engine to start:
That is, the logical steps to take to trouble shoot so that if
nothing else you can describe the problem to someone for further help.

Example
starter turning or not
battery voltage
fuel filters

Other topics:
Transmission doesn't engage
The great front airconditioner switch caper--good for all newbees.
Propane heaters don't light
Water pressure failure

No power to the margaritta maker, etc.

Regards,
Jim
Would like to see you all this year but I am to be out of the country
again.
