Andy Coleman

Hello fellow Wanderlodgers,

Can anyone recommend a good machine shop in the Seattle/Tacoma area?
We're far from home (New Jersey) and getting some bad bearing noises
from our clutch fan assembly. We have the bearings for it but don't
know where to go...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Andy:

Welcome to the Northwest but sorry you are having trouble. I can't
recomment a machine shop but there is a place that a number of Blue
Bird owners use. Martin is a good guy and will treat you right.

He does a lot of work on the Birds for the Air Force and the Army.
He is located just off I-5 at Hwy 512. If you decide to check them
out give them a call and ask them for directions. I could get you
there but I would imagine they have easier directions than mine would
be.

I hope this helps.

Andy I agree with Marv that this is a great shop to deal with.

Andy Coleman

Thank you Marv -

I'm going to contact Martin first thing in the morning.

I'm staying in the KOA Campground outside Seattle for a few days.
Hoping to pull off the fan & clutch and bring it to Martin (or
somebody he recommends) to fix while we tour Seattle for the first
time.

Boy is this Wanderlodge Forum a great resource! Thank you everyone
who responded!
