Question I have been wondering about:.... Will a light toad pull
easier than a heavy one? Obviouslly, yes, but what about the practical
issue? Since I have always towed a CJ Jeep, would I notice much
difference pulling a Cherokee? Or going the other way and getting an
older VW, or a fibreglass DuneBuggy.
Suppose I put a Suburban behind my trusty 391?
Any Comment

Light toad is better. I tow a 96 Sidekick Sport 4 dr. Light, no modifications
needed to tow
and at $2k was the right price.

Hi Jack,
I tow both my wrangler and cherokee, not at the same time though;o), The
cherokee is somewhere around 600lbs less than the wrangler, and they both tow
well, the wrangler does let me know its back there at times... I would think a
suburban would be a big load to pull behind a gasser...

Jack,

My experience has been pulling Wrangler, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and
Liberty.

The Wrangler seems to tow easier than the Grand Cherokee. The weight
difference is about 1,000 pounds. The Suburban will weigh 5,743 in
base trim(no options)with out fluids. The pre '07 Jeep Wrangler soft
top 6cyl auto will weigh 3,400 pounds, while the Jeep Grand Cherokee
will weigh 4,400 pounds

I have several different Jeeps, Yukons, Tahoes, Trail Blazers, Envoys,
and many others. We install towing equipment and wire them up prior to
delivering them.

Our web site is http://www.HPRCars.com

We also now have HPRCoach.com. My brothers 86FC35RB is shown there.

If you or anyone else need a towed, I can help. I may even personally
deliver since I like to travel in my Bluebird ;~}
