I am collecting fuel oil in my engine valley "center of the block"
Just got done removing and replacing the fuel injector pump and
couldn't find anything wrong. I checked the weep hole and it has a
hose that would take any excess fuel and dump it out the hose. At this
point i am stumped! There is nothing else on the bottom of the pump
that could leak. I have checked all the lines and looked for fuel that
could be traveling from another area but everything above the pump is
dry. Anyone out there had this problem? jim

What year Bird??? Where are you located???

Clean the area of all fuel deposits., use shop rags , paper towels ,
clean with carb or brake cleaner, These solvents are really flamable
Check all fuel lines from the injector pump to the injectors.

Did you remove and replace the entire injector pump????
The throttle rod seal is another high probability.

I placed a repair procedure in the files, for this seal repair.
Try this at your own risk......

All good points. Usually it take repeated use of the brake clean can and close
observation to find stubborn leaks. Real tough ones might require dye and the
ol' black light and a mirror.

New member here searching for information on the 3208 i have. It is leaking diesel and thought it was throttle rod. Got that all replaced and still leaking. Took it apart to find it leaking at the spot circled in red.fuel is just bubbling up from the spot with the yellow dot under the small cover. Any help is greatly appreciated.
