Hi group,
I have uploaded 11 pics in the photo's section under Installing a
tankless hot water heater.
I bought the unit from Precision Temp and it was pretty straight
forward install.
My thanks to Mike for his help in telling me how to upload pics.

Great job Bob! I liked the narrative on the pictures, but you need
one more picture showing the heater grill after it was all buttoned
up. Oh and by the way, quit with the countdown counter, it's killing
me!! LOL! Years to go here, so I am jealous!

Hi Ernie,
The heater is a Precision Temp. I think their web site is
precisiontemp.com. Unit ran around 900 bucks and I added a 100 buck
option of a wind fan. Basically its a computer muffin fan that blows
air out. This is if a wind is blowing towards the unit and it keeps
the fire going. Whole thing runs on 12v and the water pressure has to
be under 2 gpm to heat water. With the water softner in line, no
problem with that.
This is my second unit as first one I put in my 76 GMC. They work
great.
Nice to be able to take 15 minute showers (not navy ones).
Now we can use the electric water heater as backup or when dry
camping and water needs to be rationed.
Anything else, please ask.

Very nice installation. I have a few questions.

Do you still you have the Ten gal. water heater operating?
Are you going to retain the Instahot in the galley?
Is the new system both 12 and 120 v?

Hi Art,
I drained the electric water heater and put a shutoff in line so
water bypasses the electric one.
Somebody had taken out the electric Instanthot, but I will put one
back in in August.
The tankless heater is 12v for the power and runs off propane.
