Hello:
I just enterned my '82 PT-40 and turned on the master battery switch
and a very loud alarm started sounding. The alarm is above the kitchen
sink and is black and about the size of a silver dollar.
Any idea what this alarm is, and why its going off? Everthing seemsok...
As always I apprecate your help greatly.

Did your "burglar alarm" get set accidentally? Not sure if your coach
has it, but if so, turn it off on the main dash. Should be a switch
that says "burglar alarm" or some such.

I do not know about yours specifically. Idea. Mine has a fridge and LP gas alarm
in the overhead panel above the zap oven.
When you said master battery switch, are you talking about an electronics
master?

Ok I found it. There is a alarm button that has been installed at the
drivers seat (looks like someone installed it). Anyway I got to
thinking about that and went out and messed with that switch and that
fixed it.
Thanks Ryan for your help.

Thanks Leroy I found it. (I think this was a special installed alarm
by the previous owner)
