If I want to install two Iota "smart" chargers, do I buy one with the
IQ4 three-stage unit and one without, or must they both have it?

Evening Scott,

You only want one of the IOTAs to have the IQ4. You want to buy 1 with
the "Smart Charger" wiring circuit & 1 without. I bought 2 of the 55
amp models on eBay for about $150 each. I then pulled one off the coach
& put it in another motor home that I own (SOB type). I then needed to
order another IQ4 to put into that IOTA charger so that it too would
know that it's supposed to charge in 3 stages. Hope this make sense to you.

I have two 55amp IOTAs and one IQ4 smart charger. The IQ4 plugs into both
IOTAs and regulates each. Was told not to use separate smart chargers as
they would compete with each other.
