What is the matter with you people i have a vintage bird for sale and want any
potential buyer to know all the good things and the bad. that is called being
honest. This is not a good way to get new people involved with vintage Birds. I
am very disapointed in this attitude of buyer beware.

I simply was agreeing with a post that basically stated keep
negotiations between the seller and the buyer private. In fact, I was correct
wasn't I? Sellers have computers and they can read!
I guess it is easy to jack with a guy named Leroy. Besides, I thought the
subject buyer made an offer on an FC?
Like it or not it is a Caveat Emptor world.

I took this entirely differently. I felt Howards comment had nothing
to do with any of the following posts and simply was a slap at me for
talking too much ( guilty as charged) but certainly not the only one.
Fred's comments at least partly spoke to being rude to new members
who MIGHT become BlueBird owners and who are potential buyers. Oh and
by the way, I heard from the seller.... And I'd say more but oh no
ole Howard taught me better. :-) JEH

I am so sorry that you have gotten your feelings hurt that was not my
intentions. I posted a general comment that I felt should be helpful to anyone
looking to buy a Bird or anything else for that matter. If I had been aiming my
comments only at you, you can believe one thing "I'm man enough to put your name
on the post". As Leroy pointed out "we all have computers". I'm reminded of a
WW11 poster "Loose Lips Sink Ships". A review of all my previous post on the
forum will reveal that I am about gaining knowledge on bird repairs and sharing
what little knowledge that I have with others. If my previous post or this post
has embarrased or maligned you or any other forum members in any way I most
humbly apoligize.

Howard and others, In addition to being long winded I am also not
especially sensitive. We all "read in" to these forums so the apology
may not have been needed but is certainly appreciated. If things go
according to plan I will be a "REAL" member in a couple weeks. Then
I'll likely have lots to talk about all of which will be on topic.
Offer made and accepted and deposit made. What remains of course is
