I've got 12R/22.5 tires on the front of my FC that will need to be
replaced. I know of one member on the forums (Scott Peatross) that
has used 295/80/22.5 and likes them. Goodyear sells that size in the
G670, which supposedly is made for RVs in that it has more UV
inhibitors etc. In addition, it is quoted at about $100 less than the
12R. The 295 carries a higher weight rating than the 12R which means
I can lower the pressure a little. Also, I have 11Rs on the rear and
this 295 is about the same size as the 11Rs so I can use the spare 11R
on the roof in all positions.

I like the way my FC rides and handles now. It needs the weight
capacity of more than the 11Rs that it was originally manufactured
with. I can't see any downside to the 295 tires, can you?

Just my personal preference but I've had less than satisfactory experience
with Goodyear.
