Keith,
I went to Houston where this coach is and got many parts to restore my 79
and there was no clock.

A while back there was talk of someone parting out a Bluebird. I
believe it was an 84FC? I think his name was Hayden? Does anyone know
about that? I would like to find an LED clock replacement.

Thanks, Keith

Wasn't this Hayden.

Contact Rick Archie gardendoc@... . I believe he sold the
roll-over FC to someone about February this year. He will know who has
the parting-out 'Bird.

He sold the 84' FC33 to me in February. I don't have the LED clock
anymore. If you have the old one try and get it repaired. Those
old circuit boards are a piece of cake to work on.

Thanks Thomas, if I can find a used one I'll take it. But in the
meantime I plan on getting the old one repaired. The thing that
worries me is what Doug said about it overheating? Apparently as the
LED ages it draws more current. But it's worth a try. Better than
having a blank hole in the panel above the bed...

Replacement LED boards are available. also you could wire up a
little PC computer case fan to keep it cool.

You know, I actually thought of that. If I can't find some one local
to fix it, as a last resort, I'm going to send it to PMMI and ask
Doug to do whatever he can and I'll rig up a cooling fan.

I'm still holding out hope that a used one will turn up.
