Hey all,
I have a few questions about my rig. I know I read this same
question somewhere before, but forgot the answer and can't find it
again. In the back of my bus, above the bed dead center under the
overhead storage are two light switches. One activates the power to
the electrical outlet on the passanger side of the sleeping
compartment. Can someone else tell me what the heck the other one
does, or at least what it's supposed to do?
To those who have had their radiator out, are there any cross
members behind it? I'm not talking about the one it sits on and the
one below it that bolt in, I'm talking about any type of brace
behind it that would be at about the same level as the floor inside
the Wanderlodge. In replacing the engine I found that it looked like
there may have been at one point a small brace behind the radiator,
but it looked like it had been torched out. While a bit sloppy, I
wasn't sure if this was factory or not, because along the frame near
the engine the frame has been ground removing perhaps a half inch or
less of metal along the frame to allow the engine to fit properly
and give it room to shift on the, if these engines do that. I figure
if the factory cut the frame like that, they might have cut whatever
else was up front too. I thought that maybe these changes were made
due to the fact that this was a factory conversion to an RV. Maybe
Bluebird found it easier to just cut out what wasn't needed then re-
tool to make wanderlodges. It's just as possible that someone else
cut this crossmember out to swap the engine, but that would mean
there was 2 engines in 80k miles! Wait, make that three with the one
