In case no one else has noticed (besides me), go look under links for a pleasant
surprise!

Thank you Dennis, where ever you are today!

I thought since I had been honored with Priscilla's picture on the
homepage, I had better get cracking on making the archives available.
As of around 11 o'clock this morning, Central Daylight Time, the
archive from the original Waderlodge Forum is once again available.
The final two months of messages still are not there, but I hope to
rectify that within the next 24 hours.

After that I need to figure out what to do about searching the
archives of the new WanderlodgeForum. Putting them together is a
little messy since both the original and current forum messages start
with message number 1.

I'm currently in Madison, Wisconsin, where it's quite a bit cooler
than Bangkok was. When people ask me about how the seasons work in
Bangkok, I tell them they are roughly the same time as the seasons in
the rest of the northern hemisphere. Winter there is when it gets down
to 70° F overnight. In the days before I left, the overnight lows
were around 85° F.

Hi, Dennis (and all)!

Speaking as someone who, in the past couple weeks, started a few concerned
discussion threads (not without controversy) about the future of free/no-pay
access to the old forum's considerable archives, I was indeed heartened to see
that Ernie's forum now has that free access to this valuable resource!

Stew and I have been part of the Blue Bird community since spring 2003, and we
remember with constant amazement all those countless, rigorously detailed
answers that our Blue Bird community experts and fellow owners have provided
over the years. We think of all the hours these folks put into writing these
incredible mini-(and not-so-mini)-technical treatises that they have shared and
continue to share so generouusly with all of us, and know how extremely grateful
we are for this, as are the rest of the folks here.

Thank you very much, Dennis, for helping preserve the Blue Bird community's free
access to the old forum archives via Ernie's new, robust forum. Hope we get a
chance to meet you some time and shake your hand! And, welcome back from your
Far East travels! (Btw, "Priscilla" is a *real* head-turner! Va-va-voom!)

And, Ernie, we look forward to meeting you in person someday and shaking your
hand in gratitude for spear-heading this forum! Congrats on the ever-climbing
forum membership numbers--every time I turn around, another group of Blue Birds
are gathering to the flock to make this a fantastic Blue Bird forum!

Best regards,

Jo-Ski (also for Stew)

Just to let y'all know that the complete archive of messages
(including the previously missing last two months) from the Original
Wanderlodge Forum is now available by following the link from the
Links section of this (new) WanderlodgeForum. I am working through a
small backlog of messages from people seeking search help that I will
answer individually.
