Hi.

I am trying to source a couple of items.

1. The electric solenod that controls the air to the entry steps

2. The hydraulic solenod that controls the gen in/ot

This is for a 1982 PT40. I have seen some of the old posts, about
Grainger etc. but I am trying to make certain that these apply to my
coach before I call BB parts.

Thanks a bunch for any assistance.

I have been working on my air step also.
There is a good write up on these parts posted on the Vintage
Birds.com site. It seems that Grainger, & ARO, may have a valve.
My original valve was made by ISI Fluid Power Inc. I think they are
out of business.
The air cylinder is at Clippard.com Go to this site and find a
distributor near your area. The air valve is a common item, Take
your valve to the Clippard dealer. They can match it up to a
replacement.
I took mine valve apart, cleaned and lubricated it. I don't know if
this was a successful repair. I am waiting for a repair Kit for the
Clippard cylinder. It was leaking air at the shaft. Steps are still
disassembled.
Hope this helps,

Thank you for the reply. I have copies of the Vintage Bird posts, but
I am not certain the system is the same on the PT40.

I see that on my unit the gen door is hydraulic.

I will check it out closer
