What motor do you have?? How do heaters handle the cold, do you use elecrtic or
propane? I bought a couple of heated fuel filters from a semi-local truck
wrecker. He quoted me $100 for a 1000 series Raycor or equivalent. I bought a
water heated Davco for Detroit and a smaller electric heated one for gen. He
sold me the Davco for $50 and smaller electric for $35. I'm going back up to see
them about a spare tire and rim or 2. He says 12.00R-22.5 should be on a 9" rim
and my BB has 8.25". this is stock according to book but he says 11.00R should
be on 8.25 rims so I may get 2 for the front and use 12.00s on rear to keep
miles right. I think speedo runs off rear wheel but not sure. I want to get best
fuel economy I can. He dosn't have the Firestone rims so far but has Alcoa and a
couple of others. I'm going to dig thru his filters again and see if I can find
a heat exchanger or 2 for BB and boat both.

Glad to have you back in MT Ernie. When you are settled in, drop over
for dinner & some wine (box & bottle). Are you available for some help
on the PT? Status on the leaking injector pump? Do you need to get it
over to Billings? Welcome back.

Geo- I have aDetroit 6v92. I was running all electric heaters plus one propane
heat. Thus, 3 freeze protection, 4 electric heater is salon, kit, br, bath. I
put an electric heater in engine compartment pointing to my racor. i started the
coach a day before I was going to leave and Racor gauge went to red. After that
heater was placed there and adding a gallon of Power Service fuel anti gl- Racor
stayed in yellow, with no loss of power. I plan on changing that out this
spring, as conditions when I left Buffalo was too cold.

Ron & Patty

Ernie,

Glad things are lQQk'n better for you now. I like adventure, but I
wouldn't want to tackle such conditions as you have endured during
your plight.

I met another good Texan at the Arizona rally - Rick & Rosey Archie.
I asked him to kick ya all in the shins for me, and I hope he doesn't
forget Bim Burt tooWink

Stay warm,
