Seems like a lot of money went into items that really shouldn't need
replacement. Like- waste tanks. I wonder if this coach was in a wreck?

Found today poking around. Someone needs to buy it.
Check it out:
http://www.bus-link.net/bus-link.net_coa...npage.html
Search for "Desert West Coach Service" if the link doesen't come
through.
New: engine, trans, batteries, carpet and wood floor, tanks, exhaust,
2 tires, etc. Looks like it might need some paint and buffing. Ad
says 4 speed transmission...don't know if that's a typo or if its been
re-engineered. Reduced from $78,000. Anyone been to look at it?

Look in the background of the 'Rear bus pic'. is that a matching
trailer?? The best deals are found in the background

Ernie, look to the left side of the picture, towards the front, there
is a 3 axle trailer. The paint colors look the same as the SP.

They show that trailer with a 96 Prevost I think.

Yup, I see the trailer and it looks like a match to the SP. Sure
seems to have a lot new parts and then dump it for 50k? Owners sure
are motivated. A good price, but I would look over that "fresh"
drive train work real close.

That would explain all new flooring.

Just spoke with Desert West Coach Service about this SP36. They
could provide no information except what was on the
website...nothing about condition or anything else. This is a
consigned unit and they don't give out contact info about the owner.
Said if I wanted to know more that I'd have to come look at it
myself. Seems like a strange way to sell something. Maybe they have
something to hide? Guy said he has sold more than 200
coaches...must not sell too many to people like me. Caveat emptor.
