Hi all,

We're pushing 60 attendees, with over 2/3 of them BB Wanderlodges, as
we start to finalize our plans for our Quartzsite rally on January
26-28, 2007.

If you are one of those last minute types, or have not seen my
previous announcements, send me a message via the email contact links
on this forum, so I can provide you with an update of our plans.

If you are a wannabe who lives within day trip distance of Quartzsite,
consider yourself invited. Coaches from the 70's to the 2000's will
be represented, so you'll be able to see and touch. Send me your
email address so I can send you information about how to find us.

Forty Birds qualifies as a flock and you
may attract some fledging members from the
SOB's. Nothing like, integration of the elete.
Have a great time!

Hi Rob,

It's all Curt's fault--he got me involved after our first rally in
Orange County :>)

Not too bad, considering the short lead time to announce and plan the
rally. Getting positive response from 20 or so of our SWBB group when
I asked who would be willing to attend a rally in Quartzsite helped.
It kind of snowballed from there.

I think 'Q' sits in a valley. Maybe we'll call it RIV/West. Unless,
of course, someone has a copyright on RIV.

Sorry you can't make it. Next time.

Thanks, Bob.

Maybe we'll have our own show and pull some people from the 'Big Tent'
affair :>).

We'll post a report on the forums after the rally.

Thanks Ernie,

There's still time for you Texas people to make it.

Why don't you put a convoy together and come on over? And bring
Wallace with you :>).

Ernie,

I'll second what Phil said. It would be great to meet all the Texas
folks! Anything new on holding a rally in New Mexico? I don't recall
where. There was some talk about it a couple months ago.

Phil, many thanks for the renewed offer but I'm going to stay with South Padre
Island and the ocean breeze and the drunken old people. We overnight-ed at Fun
N the Sun. There are 1400 spaces, most of them park model homes and shuffle
board courts, some with beer taps near by. Believe that if you will Have
a great rally. Wallace & Faye

Curt and Phil- There was a small rally held in Las Cruces a few years ago.
The hosts of that rally, I believe, moved to Calif as we have not heard from
them in a while.
