Recently my neighbor across the streets car jumped into reverse, backed
across the street and ran into the front bumper of my 79 Bird. I had just
rechromed the front bumper within the last two years. Not a tragedy and of
course
all will be repaired with insurance money. The one exception to the repair is
the lower front screen that attaches to the bumper. The frame is extruded
aluminum and unfortunately mangled beyond repair. Blue Bird no longer carries
that item in stock and the do not have a supplier.
So, I am in need of a screen. Does anyone have one for sale, know of one
available, or know of a company that is capable of manufacturing one? I
would appreciate any help

Happy Holidays.

Excellent Dick, I believe you just did (ask the group that is).

Steve,
Unless I'm mistaken, the same screen is used to cover the chassis AC box on
the roof. I know that a lot of these AC's aren't in use anymore and the
screen might be available if you ask the group. Just a thought.

Good point, now that you mention it. I have a roof top AC condenser, with
