Hi, folks!

It's Jo-Ski here, acting as Corrie Ernsdorff's "e-mail assistant," at her
request. Corrie has asked me to send announcements and updates for an exciting
springtime Blue Bird retreat that she is coordinating and hostessing.

ANNOUNCING THE 1st 2007 PNW BIRD RETREAT! ALL BLUE BIRDERS WELCOME!

o Tulip Time in LaConner o

Get ready for an unbelieveable, unforgettable time with family and Blue Bird
friends old and new! Please join the Pacific Northwest Blue Birds for our first
2007 Pacific Northwest Blue Bird retreat in beautiful LaConner, WA, home of the
world-famous Skagit Valley Tulip Festival (http://www.tulipfestival.org/)!
What's more, our event will take place right during this wonderful festival, now
in its exciting, successful, 24th year!

Way to go, Corrie!!

What a grand way to welcome and salute spring and also hang out with a great
group of Blue Birders and talk all things Blue Bird! Our recent retreats have
been attracting an ever-growing number of Blue Birders, not only from the
Pacific Northwest, but from all over!

In case you are not familiar with the festival, first of all, it's a celebration
of viewing the gorgeous fields of not only blooming tulips, but also daffodils
and other beloved spring flowers in this beautiful, rural valley. Bring your
cameras! And, your bikes and/or hiking boots--the whole area is lovely, mostly
level biking/hiking terrain. You will feel like you've set foot in paradise! But
there's much more! Like arts festivals and music! Like the charming town of
LaConner itself, situated nearby the flower fields--lovely galleries, shopping,
and dining (http://www.laconner.net/).

Corrie has dubbed this retreat "Tulip Time in LaConner," and she has made
reservations with the area campground for a block of spaces for us.

Anyway, here's the basic scoop on the when, where, what (and, in particular,
please note the "How to register" instructions). Then please check out the
Websites for the festival (including download for the official festival
brochure), campground, and town of LaConner for more of the glorious details. We
hope you're gonna be just lovin' it all!
