All,
I'm in the process of getting our coach to "stand tall" in order to sell her
and of course use here some more. Our sun roof was sealed up prior to us
purchasing her and it is a constant source of headache. Visually, from the top,
it looks like a total botch job. The effectiveness of the sealant was minimal.
I have currently taken off all the old sealant and found the rubber seals
(original ones with the sun roof) to be dry rotted. Here are the questions I
have:
1. Should I simply have the sun roof pulled out and have a blank off installed
to completely seal the spot off from the elements?
2. Any recommendations on who I may be able to approach in order to
fix/replace the sun roof if I should decide to keep it there?
3. Does anyone know of a good RV Interior outfit that can replace some of the
ceiling panels where water leaked and started to make the panels come off the
ceiling? (I'm in California)
Thanks for any and all information.
