I recently took off the vacuum breaker in my shower setup and what a
difference it made in the shower flow. Night a day difference. My breaker
was attached to the water pipe coming out of the wall. The flexible shower
hose was attached to it. I simply removed it from the wall fitting and
attached the flexible hose directly to the wall fitting. Can anyone
enlighten me as to the purpose of a vacuum breaker in this location.
