Bobby,

Welcome to the group. Don't feel too bad about the 89 you missed out
on. If I'm not mistaken, it was the Blue/Silver 89FC35 in Americus
GA. I checked that one out and there were just too many un-answered
issues. The deal seemed too good to be true....and you know what that
leads to!!!!!
The members of this forum have some of the nicest coaches I found.
Most are immaculate and very well maintained. Be very careful when
you finally decide to make the move and it will pay off in the long
run.

Good luck with your Real Estate. Remember, the housing market WILL
rebound...just when is the big question.

Hank, its just as bad here in Arkansas, on the edge of the delta in a
depressed farming community. No jobs to speak of, fewer farmers,
larger equipment, so they farm more land with less help, looking to
take a loss and leave the area for my late retirement.

Thanks Don, I have been lurking on the Bird sites for years, watching
and learning, I already have a local diesel mechanic, and a radiator
shop man waiting on me to purchase my new bus, they say I will need
them. The 89 FC was reduced to $48K and then taken off the site, it
must have sold. I prefer the late model floorplan or rear bath and he
had sent me lots of pictures and information on it.
I went up and looked at Harvey's PT40 last year, nice bus, just too
long of a wheelbase for where I plan to drive, I need the FC
wheelbase, no problem with the driving, cut my teeth on an old
Federal w/trailer and an old 45 passenger Southern bus w/clutch and
gears, back in the 50's along with 20T and 60T cranes.
