I am receiving a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 navigation unit this week and will be
installing it. The unit has some very nice features. 7" touch
screen, XM radio with real time traffic, Blue tooth tie in for your
cell phone, I pod linked to show what is on your I pod, voice command,
and color backup camera. It should be a great add and convienece for
the old bird. I will post pictures once I get the unit installed and
give a brief review of the unit. It never ceases to amaze me how
quickly anything you install is outdated and soon obsolete. Total cost
about 2k... to think a few years ago a color camera with a 7" screen
would have cost around $1,200.00 alone.

Jim,
Get the unit installed/working soon, sign up for the October 20, '06
Buellton Rally and give a tech talk and demo. You will be a hit at our
Saturday morning tech talk.
