Robert, under your couch, there is a return air with 2 tabs on the top that
will give you access to the first filter. Way inside is a screen, or filter
that needs cleaning also.

i'm needing instruction on how to change or clean air conditioner
filter on the front a/c of a 1985 pt40 w/cruise a/c.

That Cruise Air filter has tabs on the side that make it stay put. You have
to either pry it out-- or that filter may have been removed and discarded.
Bluebird had many couches. On mine, I have to pull up and then pull toward the
center of the coach. Its a pain. When folks ask how many people can your coach
sleep? I say 2 and then our 3 pups.

ernie, i found the vent under the couch, but i can't see how to
remove the filter, is there a screen and a filter? do you remove or
clean it. also i have another question about the factory couch i
can't seem to pull it out far enough to make it into a bed. how wide
is the bed when it is pulled out? (queen)? are there three cushions
on the back?
