Hey Jeff and others of interest.......
I am having a hard time pulling out the levers on my tanks...the twist
left is ok but it takes a ton to pull them out and a ton to put them
in the last 1/2 inch...and...I am getting olser......
been thinking about electrics....saw them at camping world for $100
but they do not seem to be easy to install....I may just order some
new paddles from Jeff mif this is the problem...I welcome suggestions.

Thanks.

Dupree/Miller will likey reply also...but I have had luck with: 1:
doing a good dump & flush. 2: then removing the two small recessed
screws and removing the paddles (this is why you flush well in
#1)...if the rubber seal looks good, just clean and lube (i use
silicone and avoid petro based for rubber) and reinstall, noting
which side faces in/outlet. If the seal is torn, hard or "wavy"
around the perimeter...order a new paddle.

Pretty much what Frank said.

If the seal is still in good shape, lube with plumber's grease from
any hardware.

Lubed they should slide open/closed freely, provided the seals
weren't installed improperly or are damaged.
