As some of you probably have figured out by now, I have been looking
very hard for my "new" Bird. I have just about come to terms with a
gentleman in Ft Myers FL on a 87FC35. I have inspected it (for
whatever that is worth) and it looks good to me. The items I am
familar with seem to function, my wife is satisfied with the things
wives look at and I am ready to make a move. Are there any members or
other who are familiar enough with the operating systems such as the
compressed air system, 3208-300, 8K Onan deisel Generator and ZF HP-
500 to take a look so I don't make a BIG mistake. They all
sound/run/look fine to me, but thats not saying much from an old
prior staple & stick MH owner. I know, and expect, some issues with a
19 year old Bird as I have been following this forum for many months
and have read most of the old postings.

The Coach is located in Ft Myers, FL. I will be happy to compensate
anybody with some BlueBird experience to take a look and possibly at
least give me a higher comfort level.

You ask for a higher level of confidence! sounds like your mind is
made up. Ask the seller for $5,000.00 reduction or a buyback clause
or a 'second $5,000 repair warranty'( seller pays second 5k of a 10k
repair in year one). Like MikeH says, hold back some bucks.

A neighbor asked my partner for his opinion on the color of her new
BMW car. Knowing that she spent alot of money he said 'its
beautiful'. I asked her why she didnt want my opinion. She
replied, "I wanted kindness." sounds to me like she wanted agreement
and not honesty.

" Hay I like ebonic blue" "I had a bass boat the same color"
