Jeff:
Now that I know I have an accessory air system, I assume it operates
the air horns, dump valves, toilet, defrost baffles, air step, step
cover, quick disconnect and???. There is also a schreder valve in the
engine bay that I assume is used for shop purposes to pump the system
up. I've never seen my accessory air tank. DO you know where it is? I
put lanyards on my main tanks to drain them. Does the aux electric air
pump go through the same control valve that protects the system because
it charges my main tanks? Do you have a schematic of how these things
are plumbed? If so I'll pay for a copy. Thanks;

Leroy,
I believe I have the schematic for our '87PT. Let me know if I should
check on that and make a copy for you.

Leroy,
Thanks. No, didn't fall out, just taking care of non Bird things the
past two or three weeks.

Regarding the air schematic(s)...After taking a look at what I have, I
now recall diagrams (schematics) in my blue book not being up to date as
far as what is installed on our coach. I'm also missing air diagram
10-13 sheet 1 & 2 (not sure what they should be). I called Bluebird,
Bennie, more than a year ago, filled him on diagrams not up to date.
Bennie sent me an updated Dual Air Brakes 38' & 40' diagram and part
number/description/quantity sheets. That diagram shows the Wanderlodge
Accessory Air, Auxiliary Air Compressor, and a total of 4 air tanks. I
had that diagram enlarged, then color coded like components and listed
the components, quantity and description.

I suggest calling Bennie and explain your needs to him. He will most
likely send you the updated diagram(s) along with the Part Number &
Description sheets, free of charge. You may end up with something better
than what I received. Let me know if that does not work and I'll make a
copy of the enlarged diagram and the part/description sheets and get
them to you.

Please keep us posted.

Hi Curt,
If you are going to make a copy of that enlarged drawing, would you make a copy
for me as well? Naturally, I'll be glad to pay for it. Maybe we should wait
and see what Leroy gets back from Bennie. From what you have described, I
believe that my couch is arranged very much like yours. Mine has a DATE OF MFG.
4-15-87 and a MFG BODY NO. 75392.

Good to see you on the forum again.

Hi Dick,
I'll keep that in mind. Yes, wait to hear what Leroy gets from Bennie.

Tag outside by the entry door shows our coach date of mfg. is 5-87 (no
day), and body no. 76383.

Hi Curt: I just spoke with Bennie. He is sending me a schematic of my WB.
Apparently, there are some differences in the WB. He said there are 4 tanks. I
have not seen but 2. I'll study the schematic when it arrives, then try to find
my other tanks and expel any accumulated moisture. Everything is working but
wouldn't hurt to know the system. If you want a copy I'll send you one.
