Follow -up: Fuel in the Valley , the odor of warm diesel fuel.

I had trouble finding information on replacing the throttle rod seal
and gaskets.
I found two old postings on the CatRv site. Two poster were very
helpful in sharing their experience with regard to replacing the
O rings, gaskets and Throttle rod seal on the rear of the
Injection Pump. So, a Big thanks to Lee , and phone calls to Reiner
and Tom Seitz.

Things I observed but may be just coincidence, Looking in from the
doghouse, rear of injection pump.
There was a mist of diesel fuel which collected grease dirt on the
left side, and on the injector fuel lines.
This eventually lead to pooling of fuel on the left side of the
valley. Always a faint smell of diesel fumes.
The throttle rod and linkage attachments were coated with fuel oil
and dirt.

This is a recent repair for me, and I have only tested the leak for
about a 1 ½ hour driving run time.
So, I never feel good about a repair until it is trip tested.
But so far no leaks , all is good.
