David, I gave my Rediline to Joe Losh. Freed up the space to put my charger.

The Rediline on the 84 FC has 2 bad solenoids, other than that it
works fine. I can't think of a reason to make it functional. The
icemaker is out of service and I don't have plans to repair it.
Does anyone here use their Rediline and for what? I understand they
can fetch some money on Ebay. Should I just save up for an inverter?
Thanks,

I am not fond of the rediline, but for powering the icemaker/freezer
underway, if it works, it is a decent unit.
Its startup current is hard on alternators unless you have good
batteries, that is the only down-side.
An inverter is far superior as it can power small loads fairly
efficiently.
