The 8 original tires are : Mich X, 315/80 R22.5, Pilote XZA 1, radial
re-grooveable. I have a bid from Bauer Built, (in MN) for the same
tires at 4,380.00, including balancing for front tires, taxes, labor,
everything. What do you think?
Thanks

Make sure to use Load Range L or M for the LXi with a
slide, and have all balanced, with new stems.

I bought the same tires Ron for steers and put BF Goodrich on the drive and
tag. BFs are made by Michelin and because they were a little cheaper I saved
about the price of one tire. After two years everything is working fine.

Last year I had 6 new tires installed by Modern Tire in Waterville MN,
they had the best prices on the same brand and model (saved enough to
justify taking the day off to get the job done). They carry most
brands including Mich and can order others, tires are delivered
weekly. The mechanic was very friendly and willing to share
information, he found 2 studs that had been replaced with the wrong
type and showed me the difference, I believe he actually cares about
what he does. I would buy from them again.
