There is a rod going up and down from the center of the front
suspension that is causing air to dump when I do not want the air to
dump, or at least if I mess with that rod air stops dumping. Anyone
know what that rod is for, and if okay for me to just adjust it (up I
think) to stop the air from dumping out. I did have the bus on a
sloping street lifted high on the sidewalk side to make level, but I
have had intermittent large air leaks from the same place for a long
time.

Also, there is a junction of I think 3 air hoses near this spot.
Anyone know where these are going? I appear to only be using 2 of the
3, and the 3rd appears abandoned by a prior owner.

Suspension leveling valve, rod connects to the AXLE. There are two on the rear
axle. Be careful under there, you could die.

What Mike said.

The three hose deal sounds like the dump valve, one line to supply,
one to the leveling valve (top of the aforementioned rod), third is
exhaust.

Block it up before going under.
