Folks,
Thought I'd remind everyone to lubricate the bearings
in the 230V Single Induction Fan motor which sits on
top of the generator's radiator. The fan motor states that
after 3 years of use, the user must lube the bearings with
10 drops of 5w-30 motor oil. I learned the hard way...
Anyone know how often the powertech can overheat
before causing major engine damage? My unit has a thermal
cutoff switch which seams to work, but when she cut off
the water temp gauge was reading in excess of 230deg F.
Thanks
