Spring up time is here! Yea.

Ever had a thetford commode not hold water? Here is an easy fix for that
problem.

1.Turn off all water sources
2. Hold down the foot pedal to open the flap.
3. You will need a 3/16 " allen wrench or something compairable. CAUTION,
do not use a sharp pointed pick, it will damage the rubber seal.
4. There is a groove that the flaper slides into to seal water tight.
5. Run the allen wrench in the groove to clean out tissue that will get
stuck there from time to time.
6. Turn on the water and flush, your done. Mama thinks your a hero and it
is 6 pack time

Safe travels,

Ralph, thanks for trhe great idea. My Thetford is partially stuck open, and
since its finally warm here in Western Washington this weekend, the smell made
it all the way to the front, ewwwww!

I've been scratching my head as to what to do, and now will get that spare 3/16
allen and weld an extension onto it so I aint cleaning the bowl with my hand as
I clean the seal.....

Sincerely, Tony Pawley
