Johnny, Bluebird added some 90 degree brackets that the carpet maybe
covering up. You'd have to pull the carpet back to see them. The previous owner
of
my coach cut the width of the booth down and it made a tremendous difference.

Hello, has anyone cut their dinette booth off to remove the offset
that extends out in the isle. I'm trying to remove the box beneath the
benches. I have every screw I can see out and it still won't budge. Are
there any screws under the carpet that need to be removed. My coach is
a 84 PT35 and I would like to cut the booth off to make it even with
the fridge.

I took the benches out on my 85 and there were the brackets that Ernie
mentions holding the bases.
I left the bases as they were because there is a heater core in the
base by the door on mine that could not be moved without a lot of
work. You could cut about 6 '' off the bench without changing the
base. We don't use the benches so I built storage over the existing
bases.

Thanks Ernie, and Lee for your replys. I have decided to just remove
the 6 inches from the seats and not change the width of the frames. The
wife is happy and this way is much less work. I have one side done and
it makes a big difference in the looks.
