My isle light, under the dinnet table, stoped working. I feel rather
dim-whitted but after buying a new bulb I can not make the light work.

I suspect that it is not grounded correctly. When I took the fitting
apart the ground wire just fell out like it was loose.

Does anyone know how this light works?

Man, I feel foolish!

Oh, there are two other isle lights on the same circuit and they both
work fine.

James,

To make those lights work, you have to put that ground wire against
the metal part of the lamp holder. I made them work by putting the
ground wire where the metal "prongs" that hold the light to the
square metal and pressing it all together.
