try it out on my wheels. Let me know when I can bring the beast over (BB, that
is).

I copied those discs today...copied on my wife's computer, and played 'em on
mine. Let me know when you'll be home, and I'll bring them over.

Has anyone used the *Flitz Buff'n Polish Ball *and Flitz products to
polish aluminum wheels? flitz.com

Hi Curt,
The Flitz product line looks akin to the Macguiers polish Ball,
I have used the Macguiers polish and the polish ball,
good product which helps take about half the labor from this chore.
my wheels are not like new after this experiment,but a whole lot
better looking than before.
Recommend it ?
Yes, but not a miracle.Still,don't hesitate to try either one.

Thank you for making those discs. Much appreciated.

Greg O'Connor plans to bring his bus here tomorrow, morning I think. He
will call me around 7:00am and we will finalize. We are going to get
started with the tail light bracket/relay/CB project. His tail lights
are basically out when driving down the road. We can use your expertise
since you have completed this project on your bus. Come on over.

Oh...haven't purchased the polish stuff...drive your truck.

Fred, All,
Thank you. My neighbor tells me he tried both the Flitz and the
Macquiers. He tells me the Macquiers is a foam ball and the Flitz is
more like a mop type material and works better. I'm going to order the
Flitz and give it a try. Will get two of them as I like to use the two
clean/polish products that WhatAShine markets. They work great using
terry towels. I expect better results using the Flitz ball...a whole lot
less labor...half would be would be good.

Hi Curt,

Is "Flitz" the brand the fellow sells at the Rally
in the Valley each year?

Kind of hotel washcloth consistency and in a variety
of shapes and sizes; round, cylindrical sized to enter
wheel holes, and cone shaped for around the wheel nuts
- I threw the lit away and have worn off the name, if
it was ever on the things. Although mine could be
Busch - anyway, someone advertises them in FMCA mag
each month with 800 number.

When finished polishing, I'm sure you know a final
wipe with either corn starch or diesel will help
prolong the shine - but not near long enough...

Never been to the Rally in the Valley so can't answer your question. I
believe the Flitz ball is one size/shape for use on wheels. They have
another one for flat surfaces. Over at the metal yard they sell the
various shapes your have described. I don't know the brand but will
check next time I'm over there.

I looked out in the shop at the bottle of polish and dicovered it is
Mothers
and not Macguiers as I had said earlier.

Also maybe the chamois "polishing ball" sold by Flitz will work even better
than the Mothers

The fellow at the RITV each year selling Bush products is Stan Kimmey, a
fellow 'bird
owner. I don't have his number or e-mail address with me, perhaps someone else
here
does. Either way, Stan has most any size and shape of polish wheels and
compounds
along with several different Bush products which I have found to work great.
