Bob, I took mine out and cleaned it real good. There is an adjusting alan
screw that you can turn to make it stay on. Ernie-83pt40 in Texas

Bob, depending on what is wrong with the heater, there is a reset on the
back I believe.

Don't pull the heater yet. As Ralph mentioned, there is a reset
button, you'll need to poke a small screwdriver through the reset-
button hole in the front panel.

If you find the reset button tripped and the heater works after a
reset, be sure to find out why it tripped. The newer models have an
internal reset that forces one to open the heater to reset it. This
usually leads to observing the cause of the tripping; a buildup of
dust and lint inside the heater. Constant resetting without
eliminating the cause can be a fire hazard.
My heaters were recalled and changed to identical units with a reset
that is not accessible from the exterior for the reason stated
above.

Bob, on the 94 PT you have to turn on the Dash AC switch for the rear
with the heater turned on for it to work. I guess it is a way for the
driver to turn the heater off from the cockpit.

Bob, my heater would only come on for a short period of time thenn cut
off. At one of our lone star rallies, someone was taking theirs apart
and found that allen screw. It made a difference in the length of time
the heater stayed on. Ernie-83pt40 in texas
