Hey Curt,

Click on this link, and take a look. This guy helped me out when I needed
an oil pressure sending unit for the 8V92...he had one in stock.

It's a neat place to visit...he does some really nice work.

If you make a run up there, and want some company, I'll tag along. It takes
about 35 minutes or so. Fun to look, and he usually has a few busses in his
shop he's working on.

I need to replace the generator oil gauge and the coolant gauge. The oil
gauge is shot, the coolant gauge needs a new sender. They are the
Teleflex gauges. I've done research and have not found the same
gauges/sending units. Also, would like to angle the gauges in their
mounting so they are readable from the drivers seat. What have others
done to remedy this?

Curt,

Earl at BB has a reasonable price on gages, He also has the Teleflex
gage part numbers, the original gage with the silver trim is no
longer available, But with care and a screw driver the bezel can be
removed and installed on the new gage to match the others in the dash.
A Silver felt permanent marker and a steady hand will touch up the
Silver trim on all gages very nicely.
The sensors are most important and Joe at Teleflex tech support is
very helpful. He has the part numbers to match the sensors and gages.
There is a universal Stuart Warner sensor that is easily available
at parts stores that will match these gages. It has several sizes of
bushings to match all the standard thread sizes. Joe can help with
these part numbers.
Teleflex also has a gage trouble shooting guide online.
Sorry, but all my part numbers and website address are back in
Michigan.
I have not changed the angle of the gages , But new bulbs may help

Curt,

Teleflex gauges are used extensively in the boating industry. When we got
our BB I had to replace the voltage gauges. I believe I got them from
Marine Quest online. I got the replacement sending unit for the fuel gauge
at our local Marine Quest.
