Our seats have been replaced once and are not the strong point of the
coach. Had the drivers out today and worked on the foam to correct a
list to the right.

I would appreciate hearing from others who have replaced their seats.
What works? Are there tricks to make it easier? I used the handle from
a floor jack and some 2X4s to lever the seat from the socket today.
Does any of your front seats have room to swivel completely around?

Do you know a source for seats? We live within driving distance of
Colaws RV Salvage (largest in US they say) and found some there, but
kind of pricey.

Thanks for any information.

Check out E-Bay for motor home seats. Sometimes they have great deals
on that site.

I got lucky and came across a set of tan and brown captians chairs
out of a Chevy conversion van in a local junk yard. I grabbed the
seats and belts for $60.00 - just had to clean a few spots and they
look like new.

They were a direct bolt-on to the existing pedestal. While I was at
it, I changed the position of the seat slide control cylinder so its
under the front of the seat instead of the rear - that way I can
reach the manual control lever while seated and move the seat
without being a contortionist.

Good luck,
