Mike, did you get the CD that Ron Marabito made of our rally? Lots of good
photos in that. Ernie

I know the last couple of Bird of the Week pictures have generated
lots of positive comments online and off-line. Believe it or not, we
are starting to run low on Bird of the Week submissions. So get those
cameras out and send in some more Bird of the Week photos please!
Otherwise I may have to start loading Flxible pictures..... now those
are really vintage.....

Thanks,

As usual, we are in need of Bird of the Week pictures. So send yours
in with a description, owner's name, etc. Or, we can always resort to
more FLXibles, or interior shots, or big boy's toys........

Did you know?
You can see prior Bird of the Week pictures in the "Photos" section of
the WanderlodgeForum in the "Yahoo! Photo Album".

Did you know?
There's lots of info in the Files, Links and Database section of the
WanderlodgeForum that may answer your questions, while waiting for a
reply.

I'm soooooo ready for the weekend!

OK, folks time for more picture submissions before I have to go to
re-runs! I am running out of new ones. (Darst sold his 'Pray-vo'
before I could do a collage of his Bird sitting on it. For those that
don't know, Jay bought and quickly sold a Prevost, in favor of keeping
his vintage Bird.)

Thanks for any new pictures.

With this week's Bird of the Week, I find myself in need of more new
pictures. So, if you want your Bird featured, send in a picture with
a description of the Bird and the photo setting. We've had some great
travel shots lately. To see previous Birds of the Week, go to the
Photos section of http://www.wanderlodgeforum.org to an albumn titled Bird of
the Week Archive.

Mike,

Bird of The Week Feature...Thought...Phil Corpus can send you front/side photos of the folks and their 'birds at Quartzsite. He took individual photos of each coach with the owner(s) standing in front of their coach. That will keep the weekly supply going for a year.

Curt,

Yes, we could always use group or individual shots. But to be honest,
I have been cautious about third party submissions over privacy
issues. We have actually had people complain about their privacy when
we ask them to sign their posts on the members-only forum! When I get
the picture direct from the owner(s), then I know they have released
it for publication on the Internet. Maybe I am too cautious in
today's litigious society. I already spend too much time with lawyers!

Another problem with getting pictures from third parties is that you
may or may not get the owner's names correct, the year model of the
Bird and any unique features. Like last week's Bird where it was the
*original* owner who had logged 206,000 miles. That was neat info to
add to the caption. A few weeks ago, I got a submission from someone
I never heard of before, with a picture and a note saying 'we love our
Bird' and no signature of any kind. I responded looking for info but
never got a reply. To me, that is an unusable picture without some
content. I could cut and paste random pictures from dealer sites if
that's all we wanted to show.

In any event, yes, if I can get names, year/model info, and if the
picture is already public info on the SWBB site, then we can use them.

Thanks,
