Knowing what a PITA the left manifold change is, I called Baton
Rouge Diesel Service(La.). They not only found me a manifold, but
installed it in less than 3 hours.
The total bill was less than $600, including tax.
I forgot, this is on a 8V92.
These people are authorized Detroit and Allison parts and
service. I talked to them about Wallace Graig's situation, and they
wondered if the trany was gold plated or solid. They said that they
wished it could have happened here so that they could have saved him
money and time and shown him some real service.
If anyone is in the Baton Rouge,La., area and need some work or
service, these are the folks to see.

Steve: That's a good price. Mine cost $931.00 at Williams Detroit
Diesel in Phoenix. Williams up in Acton, GA is the best I've found
for service. Never been overcharged there.
