The blades on my bird are huge (thick and wide). I found a replacement
(entire blade assembly instead of just the blade) at NAPA, but the blade
itself is not replaceable. They are $35 each and seems to be an
expensive option each time to change blades.

Any ideas of blade replacements?

Hi folks,
There has been some questions about wipers and refills for the Blue Bird
Wanderlodge.
The Anco part # for the wiper blade assembly (down to the screw on the arm) is
57-14
The Anco part # for the refill that fits the Anco blade assembly ONLY is 53-24
These are 24 inch blades I have used on my 91 and my 97 also.
I think that the blades and refills are available in 18" up to 26"
This should help the wiper blade crisis.

NAPA is wrong about the refills.
The truck blade made by Anco is refillable. I think that is who makes the NAPA
blades.
You may have to get the assembly this time, but in the future you just buy the
refill.
If you want,I can get the part numbers for you.
I just did this this summer and have the refills in my garage.
