88 PT 40 8V92 Coach has been parked since July,Wife and I Have been
deployed w/FEMA in Oct I was home and started it,no problem.Recently I
was home for a couple of days, started it,started right up, white smoke
as normal after sitting. But then Blue smoke, that didn't stop, after
ten/ fifteen minutes or so.It's never had Blue smoke. Now I'm deployed
again and it's eating at me what could be the cause.can someone relieve
my concerns.Like maybe it needs a good hot run or some thing Thanks

the length of time you warm it up is not as important as the water or
oil temp the engine reaches. to me it sounds like inefficient diesel
burn at the injectors. you do get some ring oil burn befor the pistons
reach operating temp.
