Sure sorry to hear of your problem. I also wish you didn't have to
do business with Stewart & Stevenson. In Dallas, they are the
pits. Wouldn't go there on a bet.
If you would have been up in the Metroplex, the folks to deal with
are Industrial Automatic Transmission. Best around.

Allison transmission. S& S assures me that the current one is
toast because of the fluids effect on electronic components in the
tranny. Also must pull and fix radiator; the cost will use most of
my lunch money for next 5 years. Just goes to show, no matter how
careful you are with inspections, problems can still arise. Can
probably reclaim coach next week; did get to have a jollly ride in a
huge wrecker that would have satisfied most noise freaks.
