OK , but does it allow charging 12 V battery bank from 24V alternators?
The 450LXi has a 12 V battery bank (4 batteries), a 24 Volt battery bank (4 batteries) and the engine battery bank 24V (2 batteries).

Ross, it does. You can connect 24V alternators or 24 Chargers to it. These are standard fair in Prevost conversions, which also are 24V chassis systems. I'm sure you have them in the M450LXi.
