We are taking our wounded bird in for service. During Hurricane
Katrina while we were evacuating, someone ran a red light and we hit
them in the side. Thank god we were only doing 25 mph since it was
wet. I called the factory and they recommended Coach Craft by
McDonald in Columbus, GA.

We need the following work done:

1) front end fiberglass work
2) repaint front end ( I am concerned that the paint will not match
the rest of the bird )
3) recover one sofa sleeper
4) build entertainment center in one of our bays. We have a 26" lcd
that we want to have installed
5) side light needs to be replaced
6) bendix brakes are hissing once we stop and turn off the engine.
They don't leak down so I don't know if its just a relief valve.
7) fix left mirror since it does not stay up like it should

We are in Columbus, Ga now and went by the place. We were a little
shocked. Please give us some feedback. Are we at the right place?
We did see 2 birds in the yard and seems like they have plenty of
work. Was told they were 6 - 8 weeks out. I am very concerned on
them keeping my bird plugged into electrical service since my
batteries are brand new and don't want them ruined.

talk with glen rodgers. Yes you are in the right place. Was down there
last week with my to be son in laws BMC 37 He was more than satisfied. I
would
be clear on what is expected and what the charge is. They are fair but you
dont want any suprises. Do not judge them on their location. It may look
junky but they do good work

We were there for several weeks a couple of years ago.
We had some electronics upgraded and it took a little
longer than anticipated due to problems getting parts.
We stayed in our coach the whole time. We had 50 amp
power 24/7 and they were very courteous, accomodating,
and eager to please. I could not speak to what you
might expect when you are not there 24/7.

Beware, when they say they are 6 wks out, you had
better add at least a week or two to the estimate.
They are very good at what they do, but, as you
probably know by now, in the high end coach market,
there are not too many other places to go for that
kind of quality work. Good luck but be patient. I'm
sure that you will be happy with the result.
