Well it looks like our coach "RUBY" will be getting new shoes next
week. New Michelins XZ2 are on the way late July date code!! My
question is how do you all balance your tires?? I know a while back
there was some discussion; but golf balls and ball bearings don't seem
right for some reason. The dealer will install equal for 9.00 per tire
if I want it. Anyone using it??? Will it affect in any way any tire
pressure monitoring system like "cat eye" (not sure about that one) I
am open for opinions on this one its expesive so I want to make sure I
do the right thing here...Thanks in advance

Scott, use the equal balance, make sure that the installer puts the right valve
core in with the filter and marks the stem so the next tech knows that the tire
has equal.

Scott,
I have used Equal in the tires of two coaches so far. It is great in
that you don't have to worry about re-balancing the tire every so
often like you should with weights. Makes the tires last longer and
ride smoother.

Brian, George, etal, Thanks for the input. Seems many use this type
of "balancing system" One addtional question can you still use
the "crossfire" type of monitoring indicators for tire pressure?
